Susan Duhan Felix passed peacefully on February 4, 2023 into the Sea of Stars, surrounded by love and homecoming.
Here's a listen from my 2018 conversation with the legendary ceramicist, mother, wife, and friend, who embodied inspiration, creative sensibility, and expansive wholeheartedness.
For two decades, we danced and prayed together in our shared spiritual community in the Bay Area. After I moved with my family to Ashland, Oregon in 2017, Susan called when travelling up for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. I invited her to tea and a recording at my home studio before the show.
